An adult and three juveniles were hospitalized Monday morning, Oct. 20, after the car they were in was shot at in Buena Park, authorities said.
It was unclear whether any, or all, of the juveniles sustained gunshot wounds. But the adult, who was one of the 911 callers, reported being shot, Buena Park police said.
The four victims were in a white sedan stopped at Commonwealth Avenue and Beach Boulevard, police said. The car had multiple bullet holes along the passenger side and in the rear window.
Orange County firefighters took them to local hospitals, police said.
Meanwhile, about a half-mile away, officers found shell casings in the 7500 block of 10th Street in a residential neighborhood east of Western Avenue, police said.
A suspect had not been identified, police said.
