
Eleven Orange County girls volleyball teams will play in the CIF Southern California Regional playoffs.
Mater Dei is seeded No. 2 in the eight-team Open Division. The No. 1-seeded team is Sierra Canyon, which beat Mater Dei on Saturday in the CIF Southern Section Division 1 championship match at Cerritos College.
CIF-SS Division 2 champion Santa Margarita is seeded No. 3 in Division I. CIF-SS Division 3 champion Cypress is seeded at No. 3 in Division II.
The first round of the Open Division is Wednesday at 6 p.m. First round matches in Divisions I-V are Tuesday at 6 p.m.
Divisions I-V will play the the second round Thursday and the semifinals on Saturday.
The Open Division semifinals are Saturday.
The regional finals are Nov. 15.
All regional contests are at home team sites through the regional finals.
CIF Southern California Regional champions and CIF Northern California Regional champions meet in the CIF State Championship finals at Santiago Canyon College, Nov. 21 and 22.
Admission to the CIF SoCal Regional matches through the semifinals is $5-$9. Admission to SoCal Regional finals is $8-$12. Tickets are available exclusively at GoFan.co where pricing information can be found.
