So how do you feel about classic cars? And how about chili? If the answer is “Yes,” then head over to the free Cypress Community Festival on Saturday, Oct. 4th.

There will be live entertainment, a free kids fun area with bounce houses and more, plus a classic car show and a chili and salsa cook-off.

The festival runs from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Oak Knoll Park, 5700 Orange Ave., Cypress. The chili and salsa competition is from 1 to 4 p.m.

Parking is free and there’s also a free shuttle from Cypress High School, 9801 Valley View, that is scheduled to run every 10 minutes.  facebook.com/CypressCommunityFestival/
