Panda Express is testing a new entrée called Dynamite Sweet & Sour Chicken at a few locations in Southern California.
The dish features the flavor of Buldak, a hot sauce from Samyang Foods, and was created by chefs from both the Rosemead-based fast food chain and the Korean company, according to a news release.
It is being tested in 10 states. In Southern California, it can be found at 12971 Beach Blvd., Garden Grove, and four other locations in San Diego County. They are 600 W. Mission Ave., Escondido; 12330 Carmel Mountain Road, San Diego; 2850 National Ave., San Diego; and 937 Sweetwater Road, Spring Valley.
It’s not a premium item, meaning it costs the same as Original Orange Chicken and other standard entrées on the menu. A bowl with one side costs about $9.10 at the Garden Grove restaurant, and a plate with two entrées costs $10.70, according to the location’s web page.
The chain’s limited-time Hot Orange Chicken is still available, according to the website.
