Hearse show will show off the vehicles

You don’t have to be deceased to enjoy the Hearse-a-palooza on Sunday, Aug. 31 in Costa Mesa.

Organizer Mike Merickel said he expects about two dozen hearses to participate in the show, which will also will include live music, food for sale and vendors selling whatever people who like hearses would need.

Admission is free.

There will also be a contest for Best in Show and Spookiest hearses on site.

The show is to be held from 2-7 p.m. at the Airport West business park, 245 Fischer Ave., in Costa Mesa.
