The OC Fair is well past the midway point of its 23-day run with just two weeks left.

But there is plenty of fun still to be had on the carnival midway and around the fairgrounds. Along with the rides and games for all ages, the livestock exhibits, the cacophony of cuisine and daily-scheduled fun, there are special events coming up, including Out at the Fair today, Aug. 9, and the OC Fair Fun Run on Sunday, Aug. 10. On Aug. 17, a new event, We are OC! A Cultural Celebration will close out the fair’s run.

The always popular comedy hypnotist Mark Yuzuik returns to the fair this year with a run of free nightly shows in the Action Sports Arena from Aug. 13 to 17.

The Hangar and the Pacific Amphitheater also have nightly concerts planned.

Tickets and more information can be found at ocfair.com; some days have been selling out. The fair is open Wednesdays through Sundays.
