Irvine senior Summer Wilson and Woodbridge junior Aidan Antonio have qualified for the Nike Cross Nationals.
Orange County teams that also qualified for the cross country event are the JSerra and Trabuco Hills girls teams and the San Clemente boys team.
Selections are based on runners’ and teams’ overall, season-long accomplishments during the high school cross country season.
Wilson won the CIF State Division II championship this past Saturday. Antonio finished third in Division III. JSerra won the CIF State Division IV championship for the fifth year in a row.
The Nike Nationals are Saturday in Portland, Ore.
