The Orange County girls basketball rankings as of Tuesday, Dec. 23. The team records are through Monday, Dec. 22.

Notable this week: Fairmont Prep climbs two spots to No. 1 after defeating Mater Dei 63-48 in the Nike Tournament of Champions in Arizona. The Huskies went 2-2 in the event and took 11th place in the Vincent Cannizzaro Division, the tournament’s top high school federation grouping. … Mater Dei slips to No. 2 after going 1-3 in the tournament for 14th place.

ORANGE COUNTY GIRLS BASKETBALL TOP 25

1. Fairmont Prep (6-5): Adyra Rajan scored 10 of her game-high 18 points in the fourth quarter as the Huskies overcame foul trouble in a win against Mater Dei in the Nike TOC.

2. Mater Dei (8-3): Harmony Golightly scored 14 points in a 61-35 loss to Newcastle of Oklahoma in the 13th-place game in the Nike TOC.

3. JSerra (11-2): Kayla Rice earned MVP honors as the Lions won the Santa Barbara Tournament of Champions.

4. Sage Hill (10-4): Amalia Holguin took MVP honors in the Lightning’s run to the Joe Smith Division title in the Nike TOC.

5. Santa Margarita (9-5): The Eagles fell to St. Joseph of Lakewood 59-46 in the third-place game in the Mike Desper Division of the Nike TOC.

6. Villa Park (12-2): Lauren Wolfe scored 17 points in a 60-44 loss to Coeur d’Alene of Idaho in the finals of the Dan Wiley Division of the Nike TOC.
