A fight at Disneyland prompted by a dispute over line-cutting left a father visiting from Washington state with a bloody gash over his eye and his crying teenage daughter screaming “stop hitting my dad,” according to social media posts about the incident.

The Disneyland fight broke out on Dec. 30 just before 1 p.m. in the queue for the Indiana Jones Adventure dark ride at the Anaheim theme park.

“A group of people were waiting in line at Indiana Jones when another group cut through the line to catch up with other family members,” Anaheim Police Sgt. Matt Sutter told KTLA.

The Disneyland Guest Health Services team treated one of the two male guests involved in the physical altercation in the Indiana Jones Adventure queue, according to Disneyland officials.

A series of Reddit posts detailed the blow-by-blow of the Disneyland brawl.

The fight started when a “rude and disrespectful” family of six — two parents and four kids — cut through the line of Indiana Jones Adventure, according to Reddit user Appropriate-Cover846.

“It seems as if one guy was saying something snippy about them cutting through the line that caused the other guy to blindside him and start beating on him,” Appropriate-Cover846 wrote on Reddit.

Several Disneyland visitors tried to stop the assault that lasted about 30 seconds, according to Reddit user @ImaginaryBag1452.

“He managed to get some hits in even with people blocking,” @ImaginaryBag1452 wrote on Reddit. “Then he stepped back a bit so others did too. That’s when he jumped in for one last sucker punch, which drew blood.”

“It was incredibly traumatizing,” wrote Reddit user @Visible_General_8283. “The older man was covered in blood on his face.”

The line-cutter and his family ran off after the brief fight, according to @ImaginaryBag1452.

“Several people were able to point him out to security,” @ImaginaryBag1452 wrote on Reddit.

“Disney staff closed the line and sent staff to scrub blood off the floor in multiple spots,” wrote Reddit user @Visible_General_8283.

Disneyland gave the victim’s family free Lightning Lane passes for the rest of the day in the park and a voucher for a new shirt to replace the one that was “soaked in blood,” the wife wrote on Reddit.

The victim’s wife and 17-year-old daughter shared photos on Reddit of the injuries and said the man who received five stitches for the gash on his forehead was “perfectly okay” after the violent incident.

“My hubby is a solid rule follower,” the wife wrote on Reddit. “I told him it takes strength and tons of discipline not to swing back.”

The suspect and his family left Disneyland before officers arrived, according to Anaheim Police.

Anaheim Police have strong leads on the identity of the suspect who is believed to be a Southern California resident.

“If they find them, we plan to press charges,” the victim’s wife wrote on Reddit.
